Art has published several books in addition to Visitation, all with a common theme of the nature of God and of His love toward mankind. They are all accessible on Amazon under the title and the author’s full name of Arthur Perkins.
The nonfiction book Family of God (Revised Edition) explores in detail several facets of God’s nature and interaction with mankind, including the true nature of the Holy Spirit, specific details of Jesus’ feeding of the multitudes, and events on Earth and the solar system associated with the Flood of Genesis 6.
Marching to a Worthy Drummer pursues the deliberate tampering of the Bible that has led to a significant and harmful misunderstanding of the nature of the Godhead. Much evidence is presented in support of Art’s assertion.
Uncle Art’s Bible Favorites is a compendium of articles examining Scriptural passages in detail. This book is intended to support Bible studies in important areas that are rarely, if ever, addressed in the usual study curricula. Included are topics that verify the supernatural origin of Scripture, including Daniel’s timing of Jesus’ first advent and of Ezekiel’s timing of the creation of modern state of Israel, both to the years and possibly the very days of their fulfillment in history. The author also raises the possibility that the “abomination of desolation” spoken of by Daniel and Jesus may have occurred centuries ago. If true, the Rapture of the Church may occur sooner than many of us think.
The Buddy series consists of four novels — Buddy, Cathy, Jacob, Home, Sweet Heaven, and Moira —that fictionalize many of the author’s adventures in Christian service while chronicling his expectation of developments leading toward the events described in the Book of Revelation. As in his other books, Art provides insights into the nature of God that are usually overlooked in the interpretation of Scripture.

After completing his military service as a corporal (E-3) in the U.S. Marine Corps, Art studied engineering in college, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He pursued an engineering career thereafter, with a brief interruption as a commercial pilot and flight instructor, which was terminated prematurely by a hearing loss. He then returned to his engineering career, in the course of which he received four patents in his chosen field of electronic design. After retirement, Art has traveled extensively with his wife Carolyn in and on a variety of vehicles on land, sea and air, continuing to this day with that joyful experience. Understanding the nature of God somewhat differently than that presented by contemporary Churches, Art undertook to write about that difference in terms of what Scripture itself presents. Art’s past writing works include two nonfiction Christian books, Family of God and Marching to a Worthy Drummer, and four Christian novels, Buddy, Cathy, Jacob and Home, Sweet Heaven.
